It forces you to adopt an analytical approach, since the game calls for making only 3 moves per turn. You will have to rely on your wit to ensure that the ball ends up in the net, or doesn’t end up in your goalkeeper’s net.
By using logic, xRSoccer puts an interesting game play dynamic that’s just not found in other soccer games. It does not allow you to go twice between the same fields. It wants you to expertly navigate the ball with turn-based strategy. The game might not seem fast paced but it’s still fun to see how your turns play out and how to react to the opposing team’s moves.
